I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB).
My research fields are: Applied Microeconomics, Development Economics and Labor Economics.
I am interested in the human capital development of children and adolescents. In this context, I aim to answer open questions connected to nutrition, education and inequality. Particularly, I focus on the role of parental behavior in children's skill development and for inequality. Further, I study how policies can close the skill gap between children from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
In my postdoc position, I work on a project jointly with Elisabetta Aurino (UB) and Sharon Wolf (UPenn). We study the impact of a parenting training intervention on adolescents’ skills as well as the synergies of interventions implemented in different childhood periods.
